One thing I know with certainty is that Satan loves it when we are miserable. He loves it when we are filled with anguish, sadness, anger, hatred… he loves for us to be stressed out and he loves for us to worry. He wants us to doubt things. Whenever there’s an opportunity to stir the pot, he is there. Trying to wreak havoc in our lives and separate us from God. He’s a liar, and a very good one — he loves to tell us lies and loves it even more when we believe them.
Satan is the ultimate schoolyard bully, seeking to rein with terror and break our spirits. He even had the gall to tempt Jesus himself, but when told to leave – he left.
Then Jesus said to him, “Away with you, Satan! For it is written, ‘You shall worship the Lord your God, and Him only you shall serve.’” Then the devil left Him, and behold, angels came and ministered to Him. ~Matthew 4:10-11
Because that’s what bullies do… when confronted with someone stronger, they back down. And no one is stronger than God our Father, Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, and the Holy Spirit!
These are the ones who have the power to vanquish Satan.
Lately, I’ve been praying quite a bit for God’s intervention… to make this spiritual bully leave us alone. He’s been trying to break some of the people I love most in the world, and through his attack on them, he’s attacked me. We are not his playthings to manipulate and attempt to destroy.
We don’t belong to him! We belong to God!
Know that the Lord, He is God;
It is He who has made us, and not we ourselves;
We are His people and the sheep of His pasture. ~Psalm 100:3
We KNOW who is victorious in the end…
And the God of peace will crush Satan under your feet shortly. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen. ~Romans 16:20
He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love. ~Colossians 1:13
And NOTHING makes Satan more uncomfortable than for us to call on the name of Christ, and for us to follow God’s will for our lives!
So, how do we fight back against this spiritual bully? We put on the armor of God. We learn how to do this directly from God’s word…
10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. 11 Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. 13 Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
14 Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, 15 and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16 above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. 17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; 18 praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints— 19 and for me, that utterance may be given to me, that I may open my mouth boldly to make known the mystery of the gospel, 20 for which I am an ambassador in chains; that in it I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak. ~Ephesians 6:10-20
Let’s all do our part in making Satan mad today. Proudly wear that armor of God! Speak truth! Walk with God! Read your Bible! Have faith! Pray! Live for God! Honor his Word! Seek His will in all you do! Pray again! Pray some more! Give glory to Jesus! Then pray some more!
Amen!

That was inspiring! Worry is mistrust in God. I want to displease Satin every day of my life!
You must also acknowledge that it is Satin who is putting evil thoughts or worry in your mind. One you do that it becomes easier to refocus on God and his faithfulness.
