“Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!” (Psalm 46:10 ESV)
Dear Heavenly Father, In spite of all the news headlines, You are still on the throne. We can be confident in knowing the truth of Psalm 46:10 — You are God. You will be exalted by both the nations and the world. As Christians, as we watch things go from bad to worse and wonder how long You will wait — how long before You act. But, we can be still and know all of this to be true. We can remember that You are patient and Your timing is always perfect. It’s always exact and You’re never late. Please help us to be patient in the waiting. In the Name of Jesus, I pray, Amen.
