Dear Jesus, You told us that in this world we would have trouble, but to take heart because You have overcome the world. Then, even though You knew what was coming for You, You persevered knowing that death would not have the final say. You persevered because You love us and knew we had no hope if You didn’t. You showed us what it means to stay strong in faith and keep going. So please, Jesus, when things are hard, please help us to be perseverant too. You’ve already done the hardest part so please help us to keep things in perspective and keep going, trusting that You have a plan and have indeed already overcome the world. In Your Name, Amen.
