Jesus, You said the second greatest commandment is to love others as we love ourselves. So please give us the kind of love we all want to receive… the kind of love that seeks to encourage and uplift others… the kind of love that helps us leave others better than we found them… Help us to love with kindness and compassion. Give us the kind of love for others that is bold enough to speak with honesty without encouraging or endorsing sin. Help us to love without compromising Your Word and truth. Help us to rejoice with others, but also share in their hurts. Please give us hearts of compassion that mirror Your own. In Your Name, Amen.
