Heavenly Father, Please write the song of David on my heart so that like him, I will praise You with my whole heart… That I too will tell others of Your marvelous works. Help me, God, to be glad and rejoice in You. I want to sing Your praises throughout the day. Lord, as today begins, and I begin to get busy, please don’t let me get too busy to mediate on You or too busy to remember who You are or how desperately I need You. Remind my heart to thank You moment by moment for Your goodness and Your holiness. Please help direct every thought I have back to You. I am weak and easily distracted. So please, give me Your strength so that I can be focused, not just on the task at hand, but on Your greatness and goodness. You are worthy of all praise — in every situation, no matter the circumstances. In the Name of Jesus, I pray, Amen.
