Dear Holy Spirit, Thank You for the truth of this verse. I often say I’m the poster child for this proverb… I was raised in the Word and while it’s true I walked away for 18+ years, I returned. And I give that credit to You. You made sure that the lessons I was taught never left my heart and mind and because I was still Yours, though a prodigal, You refused to give up on me. Thank You for this truth and please let it give hope to families who are praying for their own children… and perhaps even their own prodigals. Help us to pray for our children with a relentless fervor, trusting that with You, all things are possible. You hear the prayers on behalf of our children. Please help the upcoming and next generation to seek You and listen for Your whispers above the shouts of the world. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
