Dear Holy Spirit, please help us to be aware of Your will because our hearts deceive us. We are selfish and prone to look for people and things to offer long-term satisfaction. And our deceitful hearts convince us that it’s possible. But those people and things are temporary. Nothing can offer us the eternal assurance and peace that is exclusively found in Jesus Christ. So please help us to not trust our own hearts, but to only trust in You. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
