Will You not revive us again, That Your people may rejoice in You? (Psalms 85:6 NKJV)
Heavenly Father, the world is in agony from the weight of our sins. Every day, the news is worse and worse. I can’t help but wonder how You are restraining Yourself from sending fire and brimstone — surely our world is as bad, if not worse, than Sodom and Gomorrah. It’s easy to despair, but we still have hope — You win. Before that day comes though, please bring revival. Sweep through our homes, neighborhoods, communities, counties, states, nation, and the globe — and revive us. Bring us to a place of repentance. Help us to turn away from sin and turn to You. This is Good Friday — the day Jesus died for our sins. There’s no sin too big that it’s not covered by His blood. So please — forgive us. Forgive our world and please change hearts and minds. And may all honor, glory, and praise be given to You — the One who saves and redeems us. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
