Dear Jesus, I finally saw the Christmas star. And I’m very grateful that I’m not navigationally dependent on following stars since I figured out I was previously looking in the wrong direction. Once again, I’m reminded of how simple You made it to follow You. I’m grateful that I don’t have to depend on my own faulty assumptions, but I can simply look to You. You said very clearly, “I am the way, the truth, and the life.” And because You’re the way, then all I need to do is look at You. Thank You that Your Word is simple. Not always easy, but simple. Thank You, Jesus, for being the only way to eternal life. In Your Holy Name, I pray, Amen.
