My Grace-Full Life

A Prayer for 12.21.20

Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things. (Philippians 4:8 NKJV)

Dear Lord Jesus, Even as we prepare to celebrate this week, there is so much negative. So much ugly. So much frustration and anger and fear and bitterness in our world. Lord, help me to take the words of Philippians 4:8 to heart — “Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things. “  Help me to remember that no matter what challenges this Christmas is bringing, You came to earth to be my Savior.  And that is worthy to be praised.  Thank You, Jesus.  In Your Name, I pray, Amen.
