My Grace-Full Life

A Prayer for 12.2.20

Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things. (Philippians 4:8 NKJV)

Dear Holy Spirit, Everywhere we look, we are bombarded with images of destruction, decay, violence, and images that lend themselves to worry. So many are even avoiding the news all together because these images are so overwhelming. But the solution is found in Your Holy Word. Help us to remember to focus on the things that are true, noble, just, pure, lovely, and of good report. Help us to look past the negativity and find virtue. And because Jesus is worthy of all praise, please help us to keep our eyes and hearts focused on Him. I pray in His Name, Amen.
