For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. (Jeremiah 29:11 NKJV)
Dear Heavenly Father, Thank You for Your promise that You are invested in our futures. Your words written to the Israelites who were enslaved in Babylon so many centuries ago give us comfort and hope. Because while You had good plans and a hope for them, so do You have for us — your children because of Jesus Christ. Please help us to cling to Your promises and trust in Your goodness. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
