My Grace-Full Life

A Prayer for 11.14.20

Through the Lord’s mercies we are not consumed, Because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning; Great is Your faithfulness. (Lamentations 3:22-23 NKJV)

Dear Lord Jesus, This has been such a season of hardship and challenges. And yet, even in our hardships… even in our worries… even in our grief… even in our sorrows… and even in our pain — Your mercies are new every morning. You are generous with Your care and Your love. We know You have a plan and a purpose for everything that happens. And so we turn to You remembering that even You had Your share of bad days during Your earthly ministry. You too experienced hardships — even grief to the point of weeping. You even experienced anxiousness when You prayed in the Garden of Gethsemane. But You never doubted and You always trusted in the bigger plan and the bigger purpose. Please help us to do the same. Lord, please — pour out Your mercies abundantly on all who need it this morning. Thank You, Jesus, for Your incredible compassion and faithfulness. In Your Name, I pray, Amen.
