My Grace-Full Life

A Prayer for 11.1.20

So Jesus stood still and called them, and said, “What do you want Me to do for you?” They said to Him, “Lord, that our eyes may be opened.” So Jesus had compassion and touched their eyes. And immediately their eyes received sight, and they followed Him. (Matthew 20:32-34 NKJV)

Dear Jesus, When You healed these blind men, and gave them sight, they followed You. They didn’t go off to see the world and all the things they had been missing. They followed You — the one who made them see. Lord, I once was blind too, but now I see. Yet, too often, I get distracted. Help me to remember that the most important thing I can do is keep my eyes on You and follow You. There is nothing I can see or experience in this world that can compare to the joy of following You. Thank You, Jesus! In Your Name, Amen.
