Dear Jesus, As I ponder the question, “Who is Jesus,” the answer was simply summed up by Peter — You are the Christ, the Son of the living God. You blessed Peter for understanding that truth and promised that the rock and foundation of your church would be built on that singular truth. The church is not built on anyone except YOU — the Christ, the Son of the living God. That is the foundation for everything we know and believe. It’s not about what we’ve done, who we know, or how much we have. The rock of our faith comes through believing in You — the Christ, the Son of the living God. Thank You for being our Rock and Redeemer. May You be honored and glorified today in all we say and do. In Your Holy and Perfect Name, I pray, Amen.
