However, Jesus did not permit him, but said to him, “Go home to your friends, and tell them what great things the Lord has done for you, and how He has had compassion on you.” (Mark 5:19 NKJV)
Jesus, When You healed the demoniac at the tombs, You told him, “Go home to your friends, and tell them what great things the Lord has done for you, and how He has had compassion on you.” Lord, I know that I am called to do the same. While I have not experienced the same kind of oppression as this man, still, You have done great things for me, too… You have showed me Your love and compassion. And out of gratitude for all You have done for me, I want to tell others about You. In Your Name, Amen.
