My Grace-Full Life

A Prayer for 1.3.21

Then He touched their eyes, saying, “According to your faith let it be to you.” (Matthew 9:29 NKJV)

Dear Jesus, You told Your disciples that it only takes mustard seed-sized faith to move a mountain. So we know faith is important and we know it’s powerful. You also told two blind men, “According to your faith let it be to you.” Lord, our faith is often weak. We come to You with watered down, diluted faith and only tentatively believe You’ll come through. Lord, help us to stop watering down our faith! Help us to take You at Your word. Help us to come to You with bold, confident faith! Even if it is mustard seed-sized — help us to come to You with a fully potent faith that You can use to accomplish big things. Thank You Jesus, that You are faithful and that because of Your sacrifice, we can approach the Throne of Grace with confidence (but never arrogance) and present our faith as an offering to You. In Your Holy Name, Amen.
