PRAISE & PRAYER PROMPT ••• We have a tendency to make excuses for what happens in our lives or attribute things to chance or coincidence.
But if we are honest with ourselves, many of our circumstances are a reflection of our own choices.
Proverbs 4:23 says, “Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.”
Today, as you pray, ask the Holy Spirit to help you guard your heart.
While we can’t enjoy the benefit of hindsight when we’re in the present, when we invite His input into our decisions, we can trust that He will never mislead us.
The Holy Spirit can steer our hearts clear of poor choices, avoidable guilt, and regret.
When we let the Holy Spirit direct us and lead us, we stay focused on the path that God has for us.
