PRAISE & PRAYER PROMPT ••• Good morning and thank you for the prayers! I’m still really, really sore. I slept most yesterday and am a bit foggy still. So we’re going to have another short post.
Our verse today is Ephesians 4:29 ESV: “Let no corrupting talk come out of your mouths, but only such as is good for building up, as fits the occasion, that it may give grace to those who hear.”
Wouldn’t it be nice if we lived by this all the time? Let’s choose our words carefully and purposefully since once they are said, they cannot be retrieved.
Today, as you pray, thank God for the ability to communicate. Ask the Holy Spirit to guard your words and help you to speak only with kindness and compassion.
