PRAYER FOR THE DAY:
Jesus, Thank You for being the perfect sacrifice for my sin. Thank You for cloaking me with Your righteousness. Thank You for the mercy, grace, and forgiveness that I don’t deserve. Thank You for making a way for me to be saved through faith, and not by works — because I could have never done enough to earn what You have freely given. In Your Name, Amen.

Disclaimer: This is not meant to re-write Scripture. The Bible is clear that we are not to add or takeaway from it. However, if you’re a new believer — you may struggle to figure out how these verses apply to you… or if you’re a seasoned believer, you may have grown numb to the words from familiarity. This exercise isn’t meant to alter or change God’s Word or the context of the verse. Instead, the goal is to remind us how personal His Word is. The Bible is God’s love letter to you and me. As one person put it, “The Bible is the only book, where the Author is in love with the reader.”
