PRAISE & PRAYER PROMPT ••• I wish I could explain She Speaks.
This conference is so extraordinary.
The presence of the Holy Spirit is felt and it’s a wonderful time to worship with other women who share the love of Jesus and feel His calling to write, speak, and/or lead.
Yesterday, I spent all afternoon in a workshop let by women I greatly respect.
They are paragons of faith and their love for Christ shines.
Their workshop was on how to study Scripture in order to teach it better.
Y’all, I learned so much.
It was an amazing class and I’m grateful to them for sharing their years of experience.
I cannot wait to apply it!
A big takeaway for me is based on studying Scripture not to interpret it but to seek out God’s truth and what He has to say.
It was a class fully based on the truth of 2 Timothy 3:16-17, “All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right. God uses it to prepare and equip his people to do every good work.”
It doesn’t matter what you or I think.
It matters what He says.
And if we seek Him with our whole hearts, He will give us understanding and agreement with His Truth (Deuteronomy 4:29).
Today, as you pray, thank God for His word.
Ask the Holy Spirit to help you seek God’s meaning, not your own.
Ask Him to help you read His word with a heart willing to learn and understand God’s Truth.
