PRAISE & PRAYER PROMPT ••• Have you ever had one of those days where you can just see God’s hand moving?
Yesterday was one of them.
In those moments, God lines things up in a way that is so undeniable…
So perfectly orchestrated…
So extraordinarily detailed…
There is no room for doubt about Who is at work.
While God didn’t roll out the blueprints for me to study and I don’t know the details, I saw enough of a glimpse to see that He is working on something special.
Other than having a beetle land in my hair and the scene that followed (my apologies to everyone at Chick-fil-A), yesterday was an awesome, amazing day.
One of the most popular verses about God’s plans for us is found in Jeremiah 29:11, “‘For I know the plans I have for you,’ says the Lord. ‘They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.’”
This promise brings order to the chaos of our lives because our Holy God is just, fair, living, and all about order and purpose.
He’s the ultimate organizer!
He has to be!
Think of the billions, trillions of people who have lived.
And He has created an individual plan and purpose for everyone!
And though we sometimes want to rush His plans, we know He will see them through in His timing.
Philippians 1:6 says, “And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns.”
So whether you’re having an awesome day where God is giving you glimpses of His work…
Or you’re having a terrible day when you wonder what on earth He’s doing – trust that God is in control.
He has this all figured out.
Our view is like being nose-to-nose with a tapestry and only seeing a small patch of the fabric.
God’s view is the bigger picture.
He sees the full tapestry in all its splendor and how all the threads combine to make a masterpiece.
Today, as you pray, thank God for having a plan!
Ask the Holy Spirit to let you recognize God’s work in your life so that you can get a glimpse of how He’s shaping things to the good plan He promised you.

His plans are so much better than mine, as well! Awesome post, Denise! And by the way, I’m sure that the CFA people didn’t mind no matter what your response to the beetle. Ugh. Poor you! <3
Lol, you know I always think of you when I go to CFA now!!! 🙂
