7.12.17 Prayer Prompt: A Prayer for You

PRAYER PROMPT ••• Have you ever had days where your brain is so stuffed with information, details, questions, and ideas – you’ve overwhelmed yourself?
The seams of my mind feel like they are stretched to the point of bursting.
Generally, when I get this way, my best remedy (besides prayer), is to switch gears, get out of my head, and focus on someone or something else.
So that’s the theme of today’s Prayer Prompt.
You, dear reader, are my someone else.
I do a lot of “talking” here but today, is about listening.
If there is something you’d like to pray about, share a praise, or you just want to say “Hi!,” please feel free to leave a comment or send me a confidential prayer request through my website.
Confidential prayer requests can be sent through
Click “Contact.”
That form will send a note to me and only me.
If there’s something you’d like me to address in a future Prayer Prompt, you can let me know that too!
I look forward to hearing from you!
Until then, I’d like to offer a prayer today…
Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for this opportunity to communicate with others.
I’m grateful that You’ve used the power of technology to connect us…
I pray for Your blessings on the person who is reading this right now.
You know each heart and each situation.
You know every need, every hope, every prayer request.
I pray You will touch this reader and fill them with encouragement if they need to be encouraged…
Heal them if they need healing…
Comfort them if they need comfort…
Give them peace if they need peace.
May they turn to Your perfect and timeless scripture daily and often to fill their hearts and minds with Your Word.
Please protect them, most of all, Father, fill their hearts with the assurance that You love them beyond our understanding.
Thank You for this opportunity to pray for them.
I pray all of this in the Holy name of Jesus, Amen.
