PRAYER PROMPT ••• With the invention of the smartphone, everyone became a photographer.
Long gone are the days when a phone is used for other purposes more than as an actual phone!
We pull out our phones (eh-hem, cameras) for virtually every. single. imaginable. conceivable. occasion.
And dare I say it?
Selfie much??
We spend so much time looking at life and moments through the screens of our camera that we often end up missing what is right in front of us.
We’re determined to capture every moment, but are we actually IN the moment?
God made us to live, but most of all, to live for Him!
We are to strive to see the world and those around us through His perspective, not ours.
Psalm 119:18 says, “Open my eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of your law.”
Today, as you pray, ask God to help you focus on Him.
Ask Him to help you develop a relationship with Him or a closer walk with Him.
Ask Him to fully and totally capture your heart.
Make memories in your heart; and savor the moments with your Savior.
You may not capture them on a camera, but I promise, the God who sees and knows all is putting them in His heavenly scrapbook!
And He always captures the perfect shot, every time.
NOTE: Feel free to comment, but these prayer prompts are meant to be between you and God. Matthew 6:6 — But when you pray, go into your room and shut the door and pray to your Father who is in secret. And your Father who sees in secret will reward you.
