TODAY’S SIGNATURE VERSE ••• If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land. (2 Chronicles 7:14 NKJV)
PRAISE & PRAYER PROMPT ••• Today’s post will, without question, ruffle some political feathers, but to me — it’s not political. It’s moral. And I’m just going to dump all this here because I’m tired of choking back my words. This post is way outside my norm and we’re covering a lot in a little bit of time.
Without question, I’m sure the Facebook/Instagram police will limit the reach on this post. They may even flag me / penalize me for it. I don’t regularly address this with my social media readers, but sharing, liking, commenting — these are ways you can help push back when Big Tech tries to limit posts that go against the radical agenda.
Y’all — I’m all over the place today, but like I said, I’m just going to go for it. If, at the end of this, you don’t like what I have to say — I’m okay to agree to disagree. I’m okay with it if you unfollow or unsubscribe. I just ask you to consider the authority of God’s Word because ultimately — we all answer to Him. With that said — let’s do this… we’re addressing these issues quickly with a little bit of commonsense and a reference to what the Bible has to say.
Life begins at conception.
Nothing grows from dead cells. I’m not even reaching into the Bible right now to back up my point — this is just common sense that is understandable at a grade school level! A fetus (or as I prefer to call it, a baby) cannot grow unless it’s produced by living cells. Key word: living. That means life. Therefore, life begins at conception.
Supporting Verses:
- “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you.” (Jeremiah 1:5a)
- “And it happened, when Elizabeth heard the greeting of Mary, that the babe leaped in her womb; and Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit.” (Luke 1:41)
In pregnancy, there are at least two bodies in question — not just the woman’s body.
“My body, my choice” has been the pro-choice mantra for years (at least until it came to the COVID vaccine when it became, “Your body, my choice”). But it’s not just the mother’s body. There is a 2nd body to consider. What about their bodies? I’m 100% confident that if the unborn could articulate an opinion, they would advocate for life, especially since they are the ones facing the death penalty for the sole crime of being unwanted! We’re punishing the innocent for the sake of selfishness. Don’t take me for being insensitive. My heart breaks for any mother who has made the decision to abort. She has been fed a lie for decades. As a woman myself, I hurt for her because our actions have consequences. Few people talk about the emotional toll that comes from the decision to abort. But don’t say “It’s a woman’s body and her right to choose.” There’s a second body to be considered. And that body has a right to be protected from harm. Rabbit Trail Alert! It’s always been crazy to me how if a pregnant woman is killed with a wanted pregnancy — her unborn child can be considered a victim too…. But if that same mother walked into an abortion clinic, somehow that baby wasn’t murdered…. I guess the term “murder” only applies if the child is wanted.
Supporting Verse:
- “For You formed my inward parts; You covered me in my mother’s womb.” (Psalm 139:13)
Our world is more concerned about saving unborn wildlife than we are humanity.
If someone mistreats a puppy, there’s community-wide outrage. But we have legislation pushing abortion rights all the way to full term — when a baby could be viable outside the womb. This makes no sense to me. I love animals as much as the next person, but how can we, as a nation, advocate for animal rights yet dismiss the rights of unborn humans?
Supporting Verse:
- “Deliver those who are drawn toward death, And hold back those stumbling to the slaughter. If you say, “Surely we did not know this,” Does not He who weighs the hearts consider it? He who keeps your soul, does He not know it? And will He not render to each man according to his deeds?” (Proverbs 24:11-12)
How can political leaders and the media who say they can’t define a woman scream about women’s rights? Literally weeks after the transgender movement has been all over headlines — they are doing this! Talk about your hypocrisy! Suddenly, when Roe vs. Wade is on the table, the same politicians and media big mouths who allow transmen to compete in women’s sports can advocate for women?? If women have rights — then respect our gender!
Supporting Verse:
- “So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.” (Genesis 1:27)
There are two genders.
Male. Female. Two genders. Why this is up for debate is beyond me. You can cut it off, reconstruct it, or implant whatever you want — but you cannot change your biology (that’s science — and remember, “we must follow the science”). Your gender is determined by your DNA and there are only two options. If you die today and 1000 years from now your bones are dug up, they will tell the archaeologist that you were a man or you were a woman. Archaeology doesn’t track what someone feels like.
Supporting Verse:
- “He created them male and female, and blessed them and called them Mankind in the day they were created.” (Genesis 5:2)
Those who re-gender themselves demand acceptance for who they say they are, but they don’t even accept themselves for who they are.
I refuse to play make-believe with grown adults who decide to play permanent dress up with another gender. I will be kind, I will be polite, but I will not call a biological man “she / her” or a biological woman “he / him.” This gender pronoun thing is beyond ridiculous. Moreover, I will not spit in the face of the Creator and call someone something that is not true. God does not make mistakes. And the million dollar question I have about this is: Why do you expect me to accept you for who you think you are when you can’t even accept yourself for who you are? People who are searching for their identity will only find it when they find their identity in Christ Jesus — not in their genitals.
Supporting Verse:
- “A woman shall not wear anything that pertains to a man, nor shall a man put on a woman’s garment, for all who do so are an abomination to the Lord your God.” (Deuteronomy 22:5)
Children cannot choose their own gender, nor should they be exposed to sexualized teachings.
My son claimed to be a Power Ranger when he was five. Guess what? He outgrew it. A boy who is playing with his mom’s high heels doesn’t automatically equate to mis-assigned gender! The idea that children should choose their own gender and we should allow for gender reassignment surgeries before their brains are fully developed is nothing short of child abuse.
Supporting Verse:
- “But whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to sin, it would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck, and he were drowned in the depth of the sea.” (Matthew 18:6)
You can’t demand “follow the science” and then deny science.
Pick a lane, people. The same people who have advocated for the CDC, big Pharma, and the vaccines are the same ones who refuse to follow the science of DNA.
Supporting Verse:
- “Then I saw all the work of God, that a man cannot find out the work that is done under the sun. For though a man labors to discover it, yet he will not find it; moreover, though a wise man attempts to know it, he will not be able to find it.” (Ecclesiastes 8:17)
Feeling aren’t facts.
We live in a world of relative truth, and honestly — there’s no such thing. Just because you “feel” something doesn’t make it fact.
Supporting Verse:
- “The heart is deceitful above all things, And desperately wicked; Who can know it?” (Jeremiah 17:9)
I’ve not added commentary on these verses simply due to the length of this post. I told you I was putting it all out there in a way I never have before. None of this is being said to be mean. That’s not my intent and I certainly don’t hate anyone — even those who hold completely polar opposite opinions from me. But the reality is that I’m absolutely worn out from biting my tongue. These radical ideas are so far removed from common sense and certainly not rooted in anything from the Bible. And there are a lot of people who are like me… people who have been fearful of standing up and speaking truth for 1) being labeled as intolerant, bigoted, and racist and 2) offending someone. But no one cares how much I’m offended by their opinions! And I’m tired of being quiet on these matters. God did not give us a spirit of fear, but one of courage (2 Timothy 1:7).
As I stated — these are not matters of politics to me, but they are matters of morals. I’ve got a lot of opinions on politics, but I’m not diving into those. God’s people need to watch themselves. We are to be in this world, not of it (John 15:19). We are to be the influencers, not the influenced. We should NEVER compromise God’s word for the sake of political correctness and while My Grace-Full Life will return to its regularly scheduled broadcast next week, I’m tired of being afraid to speak truth. And Jesus Christ is truth. His Word is the authority in my life and I don’t care what the world says. The world could use a lot more Jesus. All this talk about peace and tolerance — it will not happen without Jesus. Let me say that again, but louder for the people in the back: ALL THIS TALK OF PEACE AND TOLERANCE WILL NOT HAPPEN WITHOUT JESUS. As the creation, we have gotten too big for our britches and we have neglected the Creator. And our world is suffering because of it. It’s not going to get better; it’s only going to get worse if we don’t commit to speak the truth in Jesus’ Name! Can I get an Amen!!!
So I’ve said enough. My opinions are now out there for everyone to see and whatever…. Don’t like them? I stand by them.
God said, “if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land” (2 Chronicles 7:14). I’m praying for our nation to 1) experience true revival and 2) return to God. We were founded on Biblical principles and those principles are neither outdated nor are they broken. Once again, we need Jesus.
Today, as you pray, please join me in praying for our nation. We are a broken, sinful nation that is getting worse by the day because we have removed God from our guiding principles. Pray that the Father will be exalted and that He will heal hearts and correct warped ideas. Ask the Holy Spirit to equip you to be bold in your faith and trust that the Word of God is mightier than the weapons of public opinion. And if this is you — be courageous enough to embrace the words of Joshua — “But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord” (Joshua 24:15b).
