PRAISE & PRAYER PROMPT ••• When the world around us spends so much time judging based on outward appearance, I’m grateful that God sees so much more than the superficial.
And on the flip side, there are other times when we wish we could hide our thoughts and feelings.
But God sees all.
In 1 Samuel 16:7, it says, “But the Lord said to Samuel, ‘Do not look at his appearance or his stature because I have rejected him. Humans do not see what the Lord sees, for humans see what is visible, but the Lord sees the heart.’”
God sees what the world does not…
Loneliness.
Discouragement.
Hurt feelings.
But He also sees potential.
The possibilities.
The very purpose for which you were created.
Nothing is invisible to Him so when the world limits you to your looks, finances, or social standing—we serve a great and good God who sees so much more.
Looks fade, while wealth and social standing aren’t reliable or guaranteed.
But the deeper things…
The gifts we have yet to discover…
The talents we’ve been too hesitant to use…
The very faith we proclaim…
God can use these things for an eternal purpose!
Today, as you pray, thank God that He has access to our hearts and souls.
Ask the Holy Spirit to use you.
Ask Him to search your heart and put you in positions of unlimited possibilities because of God’s strength in you.
