My Grace-Full Life

5.13.17 Prayer Prompt: A Prayer for Graduates

PRAYER PROMPT ••• This afternoon, I’ll be going to a graduation ceremony for my intern at work.
She has worked hard and is headed to college this fall, full of promise and possibilities.
My prayer for her today, and all the new graduates, is that she (they) will remember to put God first; with Him front in center, there is nothing she can’t face.
Whether you’re graduating today, or you graduated 24 years ago (eh-hem, me), we can all heed this advice from James 1:5 which says, “If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him.”
There are circumstances that pop up in life that no textbook or classroom could ever prepare us for… isn’t it wonderful that we have a God bigger than all of it?
A God we can trust?
Who keeps His promises?
And who wants the very best for us!
I’m so proud of Mallory and the bright young woman she is.
Not only for her high school accomplishments, but her faith.
Please join me in prayer for her and other graduates today…
Pray that God will protect them on this new journey.
Ask Him to guide them and lead them.
Most of all, pray that these young adults will look toward God as the One who can be counted on to get them through all of life’s problems and challenges.
NOTE: Feel free to comment, but these prayer prompts are meant to be between you and God. Matthew 6:6 — But when you pray, go into your room and shut the door and pray to your Father who is in secret. And your Father who sees in secret will reward you.
