TODAY’S SIGNATURE VERSE ••• Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him; fret not yourself over the one who prospers in his way, over the man who carries out evil devices! (Psalm 37:7 ESV)
PRAISE & PRAYER PROMPT ••• This morning, I don’t really feel like I have a lot to say. I kind of just want to be still and quiet. And it’s a good way to approach Jesus because sometimes, less is more. In the still quietness, we can be more attentive to listening and learning from Him.
Psalm 37:7 reminds us, “Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him; fret not yourself over the one who prospers in his way, over the man who carries out evil devices!”
What He has to say to us is far more important than what we want to say. So today, be still. And listen.
Today, as you pray, be silent in the presence of God. Ask the Holy Spirit to help you listen with the intent to understand. Ask Him to help you hear with wisdom and humility.
