TODAY’S SIGNATURE VERSE ••• Let everything that has breath praise the Lord! Praise the Lord! (Psalm 150:6 ESV)
PRAISE & PRAYER PROMPT ••• Good morning, Friends! Happy Sunday!
Today, I just want to say — I’m tired of the news. Several of my Facebook friends have reported breakdowns this week and it’s no wonder. The news is conflicting and overwhelming. I’m tired of hearing about bickering and blaming and protests. It’s exhausting. And it doesn’t solve anything.
I’m so grateful for my faith in Jesus. I honestly don’t know how someone can go through this situation without Him. When I can’t stand another headline, I can redirect my focus to praise and worship music so I can be lifted out of the mire.
Today, I’m going to keep things short. The passage today is from Psalm 150:1-6. It says, “Praise the Lord! Praise God in his sanctuary; praise him in his mighty heavens! Praise him for his mighty deeds; praise him according to his excellent greatness! Praise him with trumpet sound; praise him with lute and harp! Praise him with tambourine and dance; praise him with strings and pipe! Praise him with sounding cymbals; praise him with loud clashing cymbals! Let everything that has breath praise the Lord! Praise the Lord!”
It’s the Lord’s day! Step away from the news and lift your hands in praise! Let His presence wash over your soul and let praise pour from your heart and mouth! Give Him glory today! He is worthy of all our worship and praise!
Today, as you pray, pray Psalm 150! Acknowledge God’s greatness and power! Ask the Holy Spirit to fill your heart with a worshipful spirit that you can give back to the King of Kings and Lord of Lords!
