PRAYER PROMPT ••• I’ve found that most people fall into one of two categories.
They are either so hyper focused they can’t see anything that’s not directly under their nose… or they are so distracted, they can’t keep their foc– SQUIRREL!!!
You get the point.
The truth is God wants us to be totally focused on Him.
Proverbs 16:3 says, “Commit your work to the Lord, and your plans will be established.”
When we focus everything we do, to be done for the glory of the Lord, He takes care of everything else.
No matter what you do for a living, it doesn’t matter… do it for Christ!
You don’t have to be in ministry for your work to shine God’s glory!
Every job you do should be done with the desire to please God first, as beautifully stated in Colossians, “Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ.” (Colossians 3:23-24).
This morning, as you pray, ask God to help you focus on Him.
Pray that in all you do, seek His glory and approval first.
NOTE: Feel free to comment, but these prayer prompts are meant to be between you and God. Matthew 6:6 — But when you pray, go into your room and shut the door and pray to your Father who is in secret. And your Father who sees in secret will reward you.
