3.26.19 Praise & Prayer Prompt: PRAYER WARRIORS NEEDED

PRAISE & PRAYER PROMPT ••• I’m asking for your prayers today. I need a swat team of prayer warriors covering my son. He fell on a skateboard on Sunday and broke his elbow. He had surgery yesterday afternoon, but complications have put him in ICU. He’s on a respirator and I’ve never been more terrified in my life. My son’s dad and I have wrestled all night with this… how do you go from a broken arm to the ICU?!?!?!?! I’ve prayed constantly and am begging you to please join me in prayer.
Is anyone among you suffering? Let him pray. Is anyone cheerful? Let him sing praise. Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer of faith will save the one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.
James 5:13-15 ESV

  1. Prayers for your son, Denise…and his Mama and Daddy too! My 21 year old daughter had a heart transplant recently and the whole process is overwhelming in a hospital. The nurses, doctors, tubes, location, complications….all of this your family is facing is hard. Prayers that your son will recover fully and have no long term problems with his elbow! May the peace of the Prince of Peace rest upon you all!

    1. Bless you, Jeff. I’m sorry for the experience you recently had and I pray your daughter is mending and well on the way to recovery. I’m sorry I wasn’t aware to help pray… you can email me anytime for prayer. Or find me on Facebook by the same email. I post a weekly call for prayer requests on my personal account every Sunday. Thank you for your prayers for my son, Charlie. This rattled us all big time!!! But God is good and he’s considerably better tonight than yesterday. I know God will use this to His glory and purpose!!!

  2. Denise:
Karen and I are praying for complete and speedy recovery for your son, and for you and you husband to have extra strength and courage during this difficult time.
