We know we can depend on air to give us life-sustaining oxygen necessary.
We never question the existence of gravity that holds us to the earth.
We place value on our feelings and emotions.
None of these things are visible.
But we give them credit as being vital and necessary parts of our daily lives.
Yet, so many deny the existence of God.
Because He’s “invisible?”
God may not be visible but He can be seen all around us!
In Romans 1:20, it says, “For his invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made. So they are without excuse.”
What that means is this world didn’t happen by accident.
It was created by a divine Creator.
It isn’t the result of a big cosmic explosion!
Which is yet another irony – no one was around to observe the supposed “Big Bang” that “started” the evolutionary process, but the world accepts that as fact!
But I digress… this verse in Romans says that God created the world and though we cannot look on the face of God (Exodus 33:20), the world He made is proof of His existence!
Because the world is His proof, people have no excuse if they choose to deny Him.
As you pray today, thank God for showing Himself through the ingenuity of His creation!
Pray that God’s greatness can be seen by others throughout the world, even if He Himself, is unseen!
NOTE: Feel free to comment, but these prayer prompts are meant to be between you and God. Matthew 6:6 — But when you pray, go into your room and shut the door and pray to your Father who is in secret. And your Father who sees in secret will reward you.
