PRAISE & PRAYER PROMPT ••• Monday mornings don’t generally get a lot of enthusiasm, but isn’t it nice to know that no matter where you go this week…
No matter who you’re with…
No matter what you’re doing…
No matter how pressing the deadline…
No matter how bad the traffic…
No matter what the circumstances…
God is with you.
Zephaniah 3:17 says, “The Lord your God is in your midst, a mighty one who will save; he will rejoice over you with gladness; he will quiet you by his love; he will exult over you with loud singing.”
This is a truth from the Bible that I’ve read a number of times, but I was reminded of it this morning in the new book I’m reading, “God’s View of You,” by Colleen Mehrer.
I love that it says, “The Lord your God is in your midst.”
There’s no space too big, too crowded, or too cramped.
He’s with us.
We talked about this a little in Sunday School yesterday too…
How the idea of a Spirit-filled life shouldn’t be isolated to church or quiet time.
It should be a part of the very aspect of our life…
And since God’s promised to be in the middle of whatever we’re doing or wherever we’re going, let’s take Him at His word and acknowledge Him.
Get His input.
Let Him give us direction.
Mondays will always be better when we let God take the lead.
Today, as you pray, thank God for His personal involvement in your life.
Ask the Holy Spirit to lead you this week and to remind you often to include Him.
Thank Him for being interested in what you say and do.
