12.14.18 Praise & Prayer Prompt: Reflecting on the Impossible

PRAISE & PRAYER PROMPT ••• As we step another day closer to Christmas, it’s a good thing to remind ourselves of the impossibility that came with Mary’s birth announcement.
It simply isn’t possible for a virgin to get pregnant.
But with God…
The impossible becomes possible.
He’s in the miracle business and as it says in Luke 1:37, “For nothing will be impossible with God.”
So why do we act surprised when God presents us with miracles today?
He is the Creator of the whole world; He can do anything.
The limits we put on God only exist in our own minds.
Reflecting on the miracle of Mary’s pregnancy and the birth of our Savior is a great time to also ponder the other impossible miracles God has made possible.
Because only through His power can the impossible happen.
Today, as you pray, thank God for sending Jesus to be our Savior.
Thank Him for the miracle of the virgin birth.
And ask the Holy Spirit to help you reflect on the impossible, trusting that with God, all things are possible.
