PRAISE & PRAYER PROMPT ••• There are those who are excited to see frost and look forward to snow with great anticipation…
I am not one of those people.
Though we haven’t even officially entered winter yet, I’m longing for spring and summer.
But despite my negativity toward winter weather, I have to confess that when I go out to my car and see the traces of frost and the unique patterns they make, it’s a good reminder that God is infinitely creative and powerful.
Psalm 147:5 says, “Great is our Lord, and abundant in power; his understanding is beyond measure.”
When we stop to ponder His greatness and then try to wrap our meager brains around His omniscience, it’s quite humbling.
The same God who creates individual, uniquely formed snowflakes is the same God who made you unique.
He’s the same God who has a personal, vested interest in your life.
Isn’t that humbling?
Today, as you pray, give praise to God for His creativity, power, and strength.
Thank Him for His ingenuity in creating the whole universe, as well as you.
Ask the Holy Spirit to help you remember that YOU are a living, breathing creation of the one and only Almighty God.
