PRAISE & PRAYER PROMPT ••• We don’t use the word “steadfast” that often, but it’s a great word.
It means “firm in purpose” and “unwavering.”
It’s used to describe God’s love for us in Psalm 136:1, “Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good, for his steadfast love endures forever.”
His love for us in ongoing, never-ending, without hesitation, and unshakable.
It’s not going anywhere.
There’s a meme circulating right now that says, “I’ve given God a million reasons not to love me. None of them has changed His mind.”
That Truth is so humbling because it’s so undeserved.
Today, as you pray, thank God for His steadfast love.
Thank Him for loving you even when you don’t deserve it.
And ask Him to help you live for Him today, not only because He deserves our obedience, but out of gratitude for all the love He has lavished out on you.
