PRAISE & PRAYER PROMPT ••• I have three different shirts that reference coffee and Jesus. One I bought for myself and two were gifts from friends. I think I’ve worn all three this week.
While there are those (weird) people who aren’t dependent on coffee each morning, there is one thing that’s true for everyone: we all need Jesus.
Jesus didn’t die for some of us; He died for all of us.
John 3:16 ESV says, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.”
Let’s live that truth. Hold it close. Seek it with the same fervor with which we seek our morning caffeine fix.
As one of my shirts wisely says, “Coffee gets me started, but Jesus keeps me going.”
Today, as you pray, thank Jesus for dying for you. Ask the Holy Spirit to help you crave Him… to want more of Jesus all day and every day.
