PRAISE & PRAYER PROMPT ••• There is no break from sharing about Jesus.
I was going to write to you all this morning that I was thinking of taking a break from posting, but as I typed, I realized that my Mamo would not want me to stop encouraging people to pray.
So with that in mind, I am going to continue because she’s right.
My Mamo was admitted to a hospice home last night, and while she’s unresponsive, I know that she loves Jesus with her whole heart and would tell me that this matters.
Until the Holy Spirit puts another project on my heart, I will continue.
I would ask for grace in the next few days/weeks because depending on the circumstances, I may not be able to post first thing in the morning.
But our daily prayers are the most important part of our day.
It’s what enables us to communicate with our Creator and Savior and no matter what life throws at us, this is the most important relationship we have.
Especially when our hearts are breaking.
Psalm 34:18 says, “The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit.”
The Lord is near.
And whether you are in a season of grief or a season of celebration, He is near.
James 4:8a reminds us, “Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you.”
And that is the most amazing, comforting truth.
Today, as you pray, thank Him for being close to all who call on Him and all who have been redeemed by the blood of Jesus.
And I ask for your continued prayers for my grandmother and our family.
